    Lebradors Retrievers are excellent family dog, they are good with children of all ages and other animals. They are particularly fast and athletic but their ack of fear may require training n uncontrolled adult can be quite problematic, females can be slightly more independent than male dogs, they are easygoing and trusting with strangers so they are not usually suitable as guard dogs. Because of their enthusiasm leash-training early on is suggested to prevent pulling when full-grown, Lebrador Retrievers have high success rate at becoming guide dogs, they are powerful and indefatigable swimmers and have ability to tolerate the coldest of water.

    Origin

    Labrador Retrievers originated on the island of Newfoundland, in what is now the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. They were initially developed by fishermen to assist with various tasks, and their breed was further refined in England.

    Features

    Lebrador Retrievers usually have a powerful and muscular build, their heads are broad with slightly pronounced eyebrows, eyes usually are kind and expressive and are brown and hazel, The lining around the eyes should be black they have strong and powerful jaws, medium size muzzle length that should not be too tapered, jaws hang slightly and curve back, their ears hang close to the head and set slightly above the eyes, their coat usually is short and dense and is water resistant, they naturally has a slightly dry, oily coat coat usually can have black, yellow, or chocolate colour.
